Brad is one of the founding pastors of Redeemer Church. His primary responsibilities include preaching, casting vision, and leading the overall direction of the church.
Brad has served in churches in St. Louis, Atlanta, and the Louisville area since 2001. He sensed a call and had a desire to plant a gospel-centered church since 2007, and the Lord provided the opportunity to plant Redeemer Church in 2015. He is a 2004 graduate of Boyce College and has an on-again/off-again relationship with his Mdiv pursuits at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Brad is husband to Starla and daddy to their six children.
Josh leads us in worship through music and liturgy.
Josh Van der Merwe
Josh was born and raised in South Africa. He moved to the U.S. at age 11, living (mostly) in Southern California and is now a student at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville. Josh is blessed to be married to Anna: the love of his life, and partner in ministry. They regularly sing and play instruments together. Josh’s greatest passion is to help people understand and love what God has said in the Bible.
In his free time Josh loves to make coffee, go backpacking, and read good books.
Anna is married to Josh and they live in Jeffersonville with their 2 children. They have been a part of Redeemer Church since the beginning and she faithfully serves by coordinating our volunteers for our nursery.
Tim focuses on developing and multiplying our Community Groups.

Tim is married to Leesha and they have 2 children, and live in Jeffersonville. Being one of the founding members of Redeemer, Tim has grown into this role that provides encouragement and coaching to all of our community group leaders.
Hannah leads our people in creating a hospitable environment for
Connect Ministry Coordinator
Hannah is married to Kris and live in Jeffersonville with their son. Her role involves making sure that our worship gatherings are a hospitable place for all who attend – whether by providing coffee or making sure we have people available to greet at the front door.
Dusty serves to provide supplies for the different ministries of
Dusty is married to Candice and they have 2 children. They live in New Albany. Dusty serves as a deacon at Redeemer Church which involves him making sure the different needs of our specific ministries are met.
Paul serves to equip our church to meet physical needs
Paul is married to Megan and live in Jeffersonville with their 6 children. His primary role of deacon is to equip our church to meet any physical needs of members of our congregation and the surrounding community.
